    Not as fancy as it looks, but had its moments

    The restaurant was great, had this charcoal bun burger that was amazing, and the service was excellent during the conference meals. The location can't be beat, right across from historical sites and within walking distance to museums.

    It wasn't exactly cheap, but it was still acceptable overall.

    Perfect location & cozy vibes

    The hotel is super close to the Capital One Arena and has a great eclectic design. Loved the free coffee in the mornings and the evening mixers were a nice touch! Staff were awesome, super attentive and always had a smile. Wish the rooms were a bit bigger, though, felt a tad cramped while getting around.

    Kimpton is a really unique hotel in an old post office. The location is fantastic, right across from a smithsonian. Our room was interesting, with a lion head bas relief, and the shower was wonderfully strong. We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, even on the first floor!

    The atmosphere in this beautifully restored historic building is very nice, and it's just a short walk to the National Mall and the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. I appreciated the comfortable room with its tasteful furnishings.
